Anne lived in Louisiana for many of her younger years, surrounded by the character and charm of Southern architecture and interiors. It was during this time that an interest and appreciation for design began to stir, and Anne knew she would pursue a career in a creative field.

Anne was accepted into the School of Interior Design while attending Louisiana State University. Upon graduating, she was employed as a full time designer at Rogers & McDaniel Antiques and Interiors in Baton Rouge. While with the firm she was exposed to large-scale projects, absorbing wisdom and knowledge of the industry and developing her client-tailored craft.

In 2010, Anne moved with her husband Neal to Texas and soon thereafter launched a full-service interior design business, Anne Hastings Designs, offering services to clientele in the Greater Houston area. Anne works with clients to achieve timeless design by mixing old-world antiques with current finds in a modern day setting. She is creatively inspired by designs of today, while continuing to apply classic principles to her projects. Anne achieves her client's vision with well-executed planning, creating functional and beautiful spaces.

Anne and Neal live in the Houston suburb of Kingwood, with their two daughters, Louise and Caroline, and pup, Toby.
